Most fun things were out of the question. So I learned to build worlds instead.
I was raised by a single mother who had nightly prophetic dreams of her children's demise. Most fun things were out of the question. That sparked my creativity and took me down the path of intricate worldbuilding.
I've written fun for a living on animated series for Netflix, DreamWorks, Apple TV+, Amazon Studios, and PBS. I work inside established bibles and tight formats, matching an existing voice while collaborating with studios, networks, and educational consultants.
I design worlds built on thematic architecture. Nothing is random. Every detail serves the story. In The Fun Society, fun has been outlawed. In The Fall of Lala Island, it's the cage that traps the children. In Virgins Beware!, not engaging in sexual fun is what gets women killed.
I am not one, but a collection of generations, experiences, time, places, and moments that all came together to form my being. Stories climb out of the collective, and I aim to do them justice. I'm a collaborator living in the future, looking to build spaces where humans lead the story.

In this comical dystopian universe, fun has been deemed dangerous. An underground network of kids known as Funsters meet in secret to have fun — but when one of their own is apprehended by the Tattle Squad, they lead a mission to rescue him from the ultimate punishment.
This script earned me a development deal with Sesame Workshop.
